I think the gods are conspiring against me. Just the other day I wrote on this blog that I got my first record deal on the strength of a two track demo that was left in the offices of a major label with no contact information or accompanying biographical material. Just today I received one such package. Just a blank CD with nothing else. Anywhere.
Now, A&Rs in Helsinki 20 years ago may have had the time and the inclination to do some serious searching, but in London in 2010… no cigar. Shame, the music was good.
As is this…
Woman E – Few And Far Between (Song Of The Day on Popjustice)
And this…
Ideals – Forever Leisure (Song Of The Day on It’s All Indie)
Tonight I shall mainly be watching this…
